If you’re able to stay at one of the All-Star Resorts at the slowest time of the year, you can book for under $600 for 4 nights in a value hotel. Just keep in mind that with dynamic pricing, each day could be a different rate. It isn’t common for all 4 nights to be the lowest rate available, hence why we budgeted about $600 for all 4 nights.

So, how much to go to Disney World for families visiting a moderate resort? Moderate resorts are great for families looking for a step up in value, but still not excessively expensive. They are still intricately themed with delicious dining options for guests staying.
For our trip, we are going to budget out the average cost for a Disney vacation for a family of 4.
We are going to use the Coronado Springs Hotel for the moderate resort cost of a Walt Disney World vacation.
The average price for a standard view room at Coronado Springs is around $300 per night. For our trip, we are going to price out a 4-night stay for two adults and two children

Lastly, how much is a Disney World vacation for guests who choose to stay at luxury resorts? Deluxe resorts are top tier at Walt Disney World and offer the best restaurants, theming, and overall amenities. Guests also have access to Concierge Level amenities and Villas which come at much higher prices.
We are going to use Animal Kingdom Lodge to figure out the cost of visiting Disney World, Florida at a deluxe resort. The average price to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a standard view room is $550 per night.

For this trip, we are going to use a family of 4 with two adults and two children for the average price to go to Disney World. For dining expenses, the Disney Dining Plan is no longer being offered we unfortunately cannot price out dining to an exact amount. Guests have Quick Service and Table Service restaurants to choose from when dining inside the Disney parks and resorts. This Walt Disney World trip example is going to be a 4 day, one park-per-day experience.
We are going to price out the average cost of one quick service and one table service meal per day.
Quick Service – Average $15 per person
Table Service – Average $39 for adults, $23 for children
Total average dining cost per day: $184 for one quick service and one table service meal for a family of four per day

*These prices can change dramatically if you choose to only eat one meal at the park or resort a day and opt for grocery delivery or Orlando area restaurants.

The Disney World parking cost per day is $25 for standard parking, which is good for all four theme parks. Guests can also purchase preferred parking for $45 – $50 a day if they don’t want a far walk. If you’re an Annual Passholder, like us, you can park for free at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks with your pass and ID. Parking at Disney resort hotels is once again free as of 2024 for overnight self-parking and complimentary day guest parking.

Now that Walt Disney World has discontinued its Magical Express service as of 2024, guests visiting the resort will have to factor in transportation costs. To figure out the average price of a trip to Disney World, we are going to price out the service that replaced Magical Express. The Mears Connect is the recommended paid shuttle service that busses guests from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World Resorts.
