We love visiting Disney Springs on a non-park day at Disney because it is free to enter and they have the best desserts! In our opinion, the absolute best dessert in Disney Springs is the Evergalzed Donut Burger! But more on that later. Before we dive into all the delicious details, below is a list of the best Disney Springs desserts.

It’s no secret that Ghirardelli Chocolate is known the world over for its exceptional flavor and quality. The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company uses a time-honored manufacturing process starting with the highest-quality cocoa beans and ending with extensive conching to ensure a silky-smooth texture. The location in Disney Springs is no different! One of the best Disney Springs treats at Ghiradelli’s for us here is the classic and delicious, sundae.

Price: $14.75

Location: Marketplace, Disney Springs

What to Expect: Ghirardelli has a variety of Sundae options that are all delicious. Our favorite is the strawberry hot fudge sundae. This Disney Springs dessert has sweetened strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and handmade hot fudge topped with whipped cream and a dipped strawberry…aka perfection! They are famous for their handmade hot fudge and it will not disappoint. If you are in the mood for a nice classic sundae, this is your best bet.

Bonus Tip: Ghirardelli’s has other options besides the sundaes so this may be a great choice for your family as there is something for everyone to enjoy. Looking for Disney Springs milkshakes? Ghirardelli’s got you covered! Cast members at the shop typically give out chocolate square samples so be sure to be on the lookout for that as you enter the store because who doesn’t love free chocolate?

#7 – Amorette’s Patisserie Petit Cake – Best Bakery in Disney Springs

Amorette’s Bakery in Disney Springs is one of the most “Instagrammable” spots you can find for Disney Springs dessert places. Here you can find artfully made pastries, signature cakes, and other delectable treats at this upscale, French-style bakery. The stand out here is the petite cake. They are beautifully made, the perfect size for 1-2 people, and delicious!

Price: $16-$22

Location: Town Center, Disney Springs

What to Expect: There are multiple petit cake options you can find at this bakery in Disney Springs. You really can’t go wrong with any of them. The signature Amorette’s petite cake has eleven layers of Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Cake, Cherry Mousse, Chocolate Mousse, Raspberry Pate De Fruit Jelly, and Italian Buttercream. Yup, it’s a lot but it is delicious and one of the best desserts at Disney Springs! Amorette’s also creates seasonal petit cakes that are beautifully created.

Bonus Tip: If you are not a fan of fondant or super sweet cakes then some of the seasonal petit cakes may not be for you. They are extremely amazing to look at but sometimes that gets in the way of the flavor of the decor. If this sounds like something that is not for you, Amorette’s has other desserts Disney Springs options like macron, brownies, and éclair are some of the best desserts at Disney Springs as well.

#6 – Goofy’s Candy Company Create Your Treat – Best Candy in Disney Springs

Goofy’s Candy Company has been a staple of Disney Springs since the days of it being the “Downtown Disney District”. At Goofy’s, you can find all of the sweets to get your sugar fix. From Jelly Belly to pre-packaged candy, you can find it all at Goofy’s Candy Company. The smell will lure you into Goofy’s Candy Co as it’s one of the best dessert places in Disney Springs! The best dessert here is the “create your own treat” option where guests can, like it sounds, create their treat! 

Price: $4.99 (depending on how many toppings you choose, additional toppings are $1 each)

Location: Marketplace, Disney Springs 

What to Expect: To create your treat, you will fill out a card with exactly what your heart desires. Guests can choose between treats like a caramel apple or a Mickey Rice Krispie treat, then pick which dipping flavor they want (white chocolate or milk chocolate), and add toppings! One topping is included with the price, and additional toppings are $1 each. For example, you can choose a cake pop with white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles for $4.99.  

Bonus Tip: This experience is open between 12 pm and 10 pm so be sure not to miss out on these Disney Springs treats. Even if you head to Disney Springs in the morning, be sure to check out Goofy’s Candy Company as it is home to the Disney Springs best desserts.

#5 – Swirls on the Water Dole Whip Flight Disney Springs

One of the most iconic desserts has one of the newer locations on our list – Swirls on the Water Disney Springs. One of the best Disney Springs dessert places,  Swirls on the Water, offers a full menu of DOLE Whip items right in Disney Springs. Dole Whip is an extremely refreshing pineapple flavor soft serve ice cream that has become a fan favorite among Disney goers.

Price: $7.49

Location: Marketplace, Disney Springs

What to Expect: One of the best desserts in Disney Springs is the Dole Whip Flight. This flight comes with 3 different flavors of Dole Whip in adorable glasses with toppings. This is a really fun way to try out different versions of the beloved Dole Whip. Flavors are subject to change but you can typically find them to be: The Habanero Lime (with tajin spice and a lime wedge), Pineapple Vanilla (topped with a pineapple wedge), and Cookie Dough (topped with a Mickey sugar cookie).

There are even seasonal flavors, like the Disney Halloween flavors in the fall! Right now Swirls on the Water has:

• Salted caramel soft-serve

Bonus Tip: The Dole Whip flight is adorable and a fun way to get a variety for a fair price. However, they do melt fast as the serving is pretty large for the cups that they are in so they have to be eaten fairly quickly. Also, check in on the seasonal flavors and cones, as Disney has been trying to step it up with food offerings.

#4 – The Ganachery Artisan S’more – Best Confection in Disney Springs

Calling all chocolate lovers! The Ganachery is going to be your weakness! A small shop in Disney Springs offers a wide array of options that are some of the best desserts in Disney Springs. When you step into the Ganachery, you will be overwhelmed by the smell of the delicious Disney Springs chocolate, which makes want to buy something! Even if we aren’t going to buy anything, we always stop at The Ganachery because of how beautifully crafted their treats are. The Ganachery Disney Springs Smores are our favorite treat here.

Price: $8.50 per S’more

Location: The Landing, Disney Springs

What to Expect: Our recommendation is the artisan s’more as it is one of the best desserts at Disney Springs. This gourmet chocolate shop creates house-made s’mores that are delicious. The talented cast members make the s’mores in the store so you can see them creating these delicious treats. That is what is so great about The Ganachery is that you can typically see the chocolatiers making the best dessert at Disney Springs that you are about to eat. You can ask them questions or just watch them create! The marshmallow that the cast members torch in front of you is placed between 2 graham crackers and 2 layers of chocolate.

Bonus Tip: We have two tips for the Ganachery – the s’more is pretty pricy however it is not your average size. This s’more can easily be split between 2 kids. Another tip is seasonal. From time to time, The Ganchery Disney Springs Menu will change and have hot chocolate bombs. During the holiday season, you can find the Olaf hot chocolate bomb. It is a hard shell chocolate shaped like Olaf with marshmallows inside. You add it to hot milk and enjoy the hot chocolate! The chocolate bombs at The Ganachery are pre-packaged so it is easy for guests to take home.

#3 – Gideon’s Bakehouse, Chocolate Chip Cookie – Best Cookies at Disney Springs

The longest line at Disney World, you think, would be found at either Rise of the Resistance, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, or TRON…well think again! This bakery at Disney Springs, Gideon’s has that all beat! You can find the line for Gideon’s to be up to 3 hours long at a time. Yup, 3 hours for cookies, so what’s all of this hype about? 

Price: $6 per cookie 

Location: The Landing, Disney Springs 

What to Expect: Gideon’s cookies are half-pound cookies! Many fans rave that these cookies are the best desserts in Disney Springs. None of their cookies are normal size, they are monster-size cookies and it’s amazing! They are known for their ingredient-rich, from-scratch cookies that take over 24 hours to create. Gideon’s also offers cake slices, and extraordinary iced drinks like the Peanut Butter Iced Coffee. However one of the best desserts at Disney Springs is the original chocolate chip cookie, you just have to try it! The original chocolate chip has sea salt flakes that make it so delicious. It’s soft enough on the inside that it tastes like you’re eating cookie dough! 

Bonus Tip: You can expect long lines while visiting this popular Disney Springs dessert shop. Typically, they run a virtual line system that allows you to walk around Disney Springs while you are technically waiting in line. Then you will receive a text when it’s time to return. The longest we waited was 20 minutes and that was when Disney Spring opened for the day. If you have a car, we suggest taking a short drive to the original Gideon’s Bakehouse location which is never crowded! Remember that Gideon’s also has special monthly flavors of cake and cookies if you want to try a more exclusive flavor.

#2 – Salt & Straw – Disney Springs Ice Cream

The newest dessert spot to enter the Disney Springs dessert war is Salt & Straw. Their menu stands out with some pretty wild flavors like “strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper ice cream.” Yup, only in Disney Springs would you find an ice cream of such flavor. This new location turned out to be one of the best Disney Springs ice cream places.

Location: West Side

What to Expect: The salted malted cookie dough ice cream is our pick for one of the best desserts in Disney Springs. We just think this ice cream is so unique that it’s a must and not to mention, it’s delicious! This ice cream has thick chunks of dark chocolate fudge combined with their house-made cookie dough. The cookie dough is made with sea salt which perfectly balances with the sweet ice cream flavor (contains milk & wheat). This rates high on our list as the best dessert in Disney Springs.

Bonus Tip: Salt & Straw, along with their year-round flavors has 5 monthly flavors that you can enjoy. These special flavors are always so delicious. Our team’s absolute favorite comes around the holidays and it is “gingerbread cookie dough ice cream!” Salt & Straw is happy to give out samples of their ice cream flavors so don’t be afraid to ask before you make your decision.

#1 – Everglazed Donut Burger – Best Dessert Disney in Springs

Did that title get your attention? We know what you’re thinking, “EW!” but let us fill you in on one of the most underrated savory desserts in all of Walt Disney World. Everglazed has donuts and of course, that is what it’s known for but their savory options such as the donut burger or the grilled cheese burger. We have seen some pretty wild desserts so far so did you expect anything less from a Disney Springs dessert shop than to have a donut burger? 

Price: $13

Location: West Side, Disney Springs 

What to Expect: The donut burger is a unique experience that despite popular belief, is great for even picky eaters. The sweetness of the donut with the savory flavor of the burger and the cheese… chef’s kiss! This is the best dessert at Disney Springs that’s not exactly a dessert but it’s like a two-for-one deal. You can go home and tell your friends and family all about how you had a burger on a donut and they will all be shook! 

Bonus Tip: The burger comes with two Patties, American Cheese, Ketchup, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, and B&B Pickle but you can simply ask for no mayo or no ketchup, etc. Order to your liking! We prefer just a cheeseburger but it’s really up to your liking. You can also order it with a regular bun or a donut bun. We say to get the donut bun because that’s the whole donut burger experience!

BONUS: Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar Tastes Around the World

Now this is not exactly your typical dessert at Disney Springs. However, we thought we should add it as a bonus because of how much we enjoyed this experience. At the top of the Coca-Cola Store Disney Springs is the rooftop beverage bar. You can get amazing views of Disney Springs from here as well as try out some unique sodas from around the world.

Price: $15

Location: Town Center, Disney Springs

What to Expect: This non-traditional dessert in Disney Springs is something that the whole family can enjoy. It is honestly one of our favorite activities in all of Disney Springs. By ordering the “tastes around the world” tray, you will receive sixteen sparkling and still beverages from around the world. Some of them are delicious, some of them are…well…interesting. It’s a lot of fun to get the whole family involved to try out these various drinks.

Bonus Tip: If you have a Disney Park Ticket and park reservation for EPCOT, you can head to the new Club Cool and try out some of these sodas for free!
