Universal has 8 official on-site Universal hotels with free shuttle service and there are more than seven more friendly neighbor hotels with free shuttles to Universal. And as you’ll see one of the biggest perks of hotels in Orlando can be the free shuttle services because of how convenient they will make your vacation. Universal Orlando Resort is one of the most popular theme parks in the area which means there are plenty of hotels in Orlando that shuttle to Universal Studios.
We will say before we dive into the list of the best Universal Studios hotels with free shuttles that in our opinion the official Universal Orlando hotels will always be the best choices if you are specifically looking for the most convenient way to get to and from the theme parks. The main reason is that these hotels will have continuous shuttle service starting an hour before early park admission, with shuttles running every 15 minutes after that. On the flip side, we have found that many of the off-site hotels only offer shuttle services at specific times in the morning and evening. From our experience, this doesn’t always allow guests to take advantage of early park admission which can be a huge game changer when trying to get as much done in the parks as possible.
Official Universal Orlando hotels have shuttle busses offered, which run consistently throughout the day and will take guests to CityWalk which is connected to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, or over to Volcano Bay. The Universal Hotel shuttle is one of the most popular modes of transportation for guests staying at Universal hotels.
