ogas-cantina-disney-world-bar

Ogas Cantina is a bar/lounge located in Galaxy’s Edge that transports you immediately into the cantinas you watched in the Star Wars movies. If you are a Star Wars fan and remember the excitement you had when you first watched Han Solo walk into the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine, you’re sure to love this place. Even if you’re not a huge Star Wars fan, you’ll no doubt be blown away by the precise theming of this cantina. Besides incredible décor, you’ll find out-of-this world drink concoctions and snacks on Oga’s Cantina Menu 2023, as well as have a blast listening to the entertainment provided by the one-and-only DJ R-3X, a former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid from Star Tours, who spins tunes and engages with the visitors in some fun and unique ways.

In the Cantina, the bar is located directly in the middle with lots of space around it for standing and sitting to enjoy Oga’s Cantina food and drink. During non-limited capacity seasons, the bar gets quite crowded so be prepared to be bumping up against people and vying for the bartender’s attention.

One of the biggest selling points of Oga’s Cantina is the Star Wars cantina menu. Most of the items on the menu can only be purchased at Oga’s Cantina Disney World and nowhere else in the universe. Another cool thing is they do have breakfast options for anyone who plans to rope drop at Hollywood Studios. So let’s take a look at what that incredible menu offers:

Oga’s Cantina Drink Menu 2023

Oga’s has plenty of unique drinks with alcohol and some without. Let’s look at some of the best of both.

The best of Oga’s Cantina non-alcoholic drinks 2023

Even kids can enjoy a fun concoction without alcohol at Disney World’s Oga’s Cantina. There are lots of fun and unique drinks on the menu for them to sip on while the parents are partaking in unique alcoholic treats from the Star Wars bar at Disney. Some of the most popular non-alcoholic drinks at the Disney World Cantina are:

  • Cliff Dweller – Made with citrus juices, coconut, hibiscus-grenadine, and ginger ale, this tasty concoction is served in a souvenir Porg mug sure to delight all space travelers.
  • Jabba Juice – This fruity drink is comprised of orange juice with pineapple, kiwi, cantaloupe, and blueberry popping pearls.
  • Hyperdrive (Punch it!) – This concoction is perfect for the kid (or adult) who loves PowerAde. It mixes PowerAde Mountain Berry Blast with white cranberry juice, black cherry purée, and Sprite.
  • Blue Bantha – Looking for a little snack with your drink? This concoction features Blue Milk served chilled with a Bantha-inspired vanilla-butter sugar cookie.

  • Yub Nub – Made with pineapple rum, spiced rum, citrus juices, and passion fruit, this fruity drink is sure to please the pickiest space traveler. For an extra charge, and a fun souvenir, get it with the Endor Souvenir mug.
  • Fuzzy Tauntaun – A delectable blend of peach vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice with tangerine, pure cane sugar, and “buzz” foam, this is the drink that everyone talks about. The buzz foam is derived from Szechuan flower, a natural painkiller, that may numb your lips for a bit. How’s that for a perfect other-worldly sensation?
  • Jedi Mind Trick – This blue drink is made with Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose Vodka, John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum and blue Curaçao with white grape juice, lime juice, and grapefruit bitters.
  • The Outer Rim – If you like margaritas, this one might be for you! This drink brings together Patrón Silver Tequila and Cedilla Açaí Liqueur with lime juice and pure cane sugar topped with black salt and an exotic fruit purée that looks alien-like but tastes like passion fruit.

The drink menu also offers an incredible beer flight of four IPAs called the Rancor Beer Flight and comes with souvenir board and fourth hollowed-out “teeth” that serve as your drink vessels. This one also comes with a hefty price of $85 but for those looking to take a piece of Star Wars home with them, they might just love it.

You can also purchase beers and cider (and wine!) on tap that all have names reflecting the outer space location they were sourced from.

Oga’s Cantina doesn’t serve full meals and thus has never been on the Dining Plan, but it does offer up some ‘provisions’ and snacks for the weary and hungry traveler. The same foods appear on both the Oga’s Cantina Dinner Menu and Oga’s Lunch Menu. Oga’s Cantina Breakfast Menu includes drinks such as an otherworldly Bloody Mary and an alcoholic coffee. Let’s take a look at what you can snack on when you want something to eat from the Galaxy’s Edge Cantina menu.

How Do I Make Reservations for Oga’s Cantina 2023?

ogas-cantina-robot

Reservations for Oga’s Cantina Galaxy’s Edge can be difficult to grab, especially now with limited hours and a limited number of guests that can be in the cantina at one time. But it’s not impossible to get Galaxy Edge bar reservations for Oga’s. The best bet is to log onto your Disney account and make reservations as soon the reservation window opens up. You currently can make reservations up to 60 days before your trip begins. You’ll need to have a credit card on hand to secure your reservation. Oga’s Cantina cancellation policy is like Disney’s other cancellation policies. You’ll need to cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation to forego the $10 per person cancellation fee.

If you aren’t able to grab a Disney dining reservation before your trip though, don’t lose all hope of going. This is a great way to snag a last-minute visit to Oga’s Cantina Galaxy’s Edge.

What Time Does Oga’s Cantina Open at Walt Disney World 2023?

Another important question we receive is, when does Oga’s Cantina open up at Walt Disney World? The great news is that guests can troop over to Oga’s Cantina for breakfast starting when the park opens. You would still need to make a reservation however the current operating hours are for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Additional Oga’s Cantina Tips & Tricks

  • The Oga’s Cantina Disney World menu doesn’t offer much for picky eaters or drinkers. There aren’t any sodas or commonly consumed snacks to be found in the place. Also, all the drinks are premixed so you aren’t able to customize them in any way.
  • If you like using the Disney Play App while visiting Disney World, Oga’s Cantina has lots of fun elements to interact with.
  • Oga’s Cantina breakfast menu is back after being temporarily unavailable for a few months.
  • Be prepared to spend some money at Oga’s Cantina. The drinks and food are pricey even for Disney World standards, and if you want any souvenir mugs, you might be spending close to $50 for a single drink.
  • The seating is very limited. Most guests will be stationed at standing tables to enjoy their concoctions. There are a few booths so if you want one, make sure to let the Cast Member admitting guests aware of your desire. You might have to wait a bit longer but if it’s important to your enjoyment, it will be worth the wait. We think families with kids will especially want a booth, so your children aren’t spending the entire time looking directly at people’s back sides.
  • If you struggle with tight spaces, lots of flashing lights and loud noises, you might not enjoy this immersive experience. When social distancing restrictions are lifted, we don’t know how Disney will handle capacity limits but, in the past, you got pretty crammed into the area, causing an almost claustrophobic experience.
  • It does have a limited time you can stay so drink up quickly. After 45 minutes, your party will be asked to exit the cantina so make sure to order quickly and save enough time to savor every sip and bite.

We hope you’ll give it a try at least once and let us know what you think.
