Does Universal Orlando Have a Payment Plan?

universal-transportation-at-loews-portofino-bay

Let’s start this guide with the most common question we receive: Does Universal Orlando have a payment plan? To confirm, families who book a Universal Orlando vacation package which include a hotel and theme park tickets can take advantage of a payment plan as long as their travel dates are more than 45 days away. Guests who meet the 45-day requirement can book their Universal Orlando vacation package for as little as $50 per person down. The other benefit to taking advantage of an official Universal Orlando vacation package through an official Universal travel agency like The Park Prodigy is guests can make as many or as few payments as they would like, with the most important thing being that your vacation package is paid in full at the 45-day mark. Another benefit of booking through a Universal travel agency is that guests can also take advantage of this payment plan even if they plan to stay at one of the Universal Orlando-friendly neighbor hotels as long as they include tickets in their package. It’s important to note that there are no payment plans for guests who are only looking to take advantage of Universal Orlando theme park tickets.

What are my payment options for my Universal Orlando vacation package?

  • Hotel and ticket packages: Payment plan available and can be booked for as little as $50 per person down and need to be paid in full 45 days before your trip
  • Tickets only: need to be paid in full at the time of purchase

What is the Universal Orlando vacation package payment plan deposit?

As discussed above, guests looking to take advantage of the Universal Orlando vacation package payment plan can book their trip for as little as $50 per person down as long as their travel dates are greater than 45 days away. The only difference here would be if you also wanted to include the official Universal Orlando travel insurance in your package, in which case you would simply pay the $50 per person down plus the cost of the travel insurance as your deposit.

How far in advance does my Universal Orlando vacation package have to be paid off?

  • 45 days before your arrival at Universal Orlando

Another very popular question that we receive is, can I still set up a payment plan even if I book through a travel agent? Yes, in fact, booking through an official Universal travel agency like The Park Prodigy is one of the main benefits compared to some of the large online wholesalers out there. The benefit of booking your Universal Orlando vacation through a travel agent like The Park Prodigy or any Universal travel agent is that you would have access to the exact same payment plan and financing options that Universal Orlando provides directly to guests.  However, you would also receive all of the added benefits of booking through our small business such as our pre-trip concierge service.

How can I set up my Universal Orlando package payment plan?

To confirm, all discount Universal Orlando vacation packages booked through The Park Prodigy would automatically only be charged the $50 per person deposit as long as they are booked more than 45-days away. Guests can simply just let their Park Prodigy travel planner know that they would like to pay your Universal Orlando vacation off over time and we will help you schedule your payments. As discussed, you can make weekly payments or simply one payment at a later date as long as your full balance is paid off by the 45-day mark before your trip.

Can You Receive an Extension on Your Universal Orlando Payment Plan?

Another very popular question that we receive on this topic is, can I ask for an extension on my Universal Orlando package payment plan? Officially, guests do have to make sure that their Universal Orlando vacation package is paid in full by the 45-day mark. However, one of the other benefits of working with a company like The Park Prodigy is we will give you reminders as we get closer to your trip, and although it’s not guaranteed, we can always request to get an extra day or two to make sure payment is made. And, in the rare case that you would need some additional time, we can always work with you to possibly move your trip to a different date in the future, which would give you extra time to pay off your vacation.

What is the cancelation policy for Universal Orlando packages?

  • 45 Days or more: Full refund (Additional Terms & Conditions apply regarding transactions including air travel, Halloween Horror Nights, Blue Man Group, VIP Tours and other excluded products)
  • 44 – 6 Days: $100 fee per reservation, plus cancellation fees charged by the supplier will be incurred
  • 5-0 Days: $200 fee per reservation, plus cancellation fees charged by the supplier will be incurred

Is There a Payment Plan for Universal Orlando Tickets?

universal-studios-jurassic-park

Unfortunately, there are no payment plans for families looking to take advantage of just Universal Orlando tickets at this time. This means that if you are just looking to purchase Universal Orlando tickets without a hotel, then you must purchase them with the full amount due at the time of the transaction. It’s also important to understand that, unlike an official Universal Orlando vacation package ticket, ticket-only purchases are also non-refundable. So for this reason, we always recommend that guests who know that they might need a hotel for their trip price out a Universal Orlando vacation package because it might be more money; however, it will also give you the ability to pay your trip off over time and you would flexibility when it comes to your trip cancelation.
