What is the New Epcot Space Restaurant?

Space 220 Epcot is a new culinary exploration, where diners will feel as if they’re in a celestial panorama of a space station. You will see daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up, to really make you feel as if you’re dining in space! (Hence, the Epcot space restaurant name). Your Space 220 restaurant experience begins with you boarding a special space elevator, which sends you to the stars (think of it like your own spaceship). As you journey through, look through viewports to see an aerial view of EPCOT as you travel high above the planet.

Is Space 220 actually in space?

No, Space 220 is not actually in space. While Disney World does an incredible job of making you feel as if you’re taking an elevator into the sky, you’re unfortunately not. So don’t worry if you have a fear of heights, you’ll be safely on Earth with the rest of us.

Where is Space 220 located in EPCOT?

The Epcot space-themed restaurant is an extension to the Mission: SPACE pavilion. This Mission Space restaurant only makes sense there, as it is located in World Discovery (Future World).

When was the Space 220 restaurant EPCOT opening date?

How Much is Space 220?

Epcot’s new restaurant will be able to seat more than 350 guests, talk about making a lot of “space.” The space-themed restaurant Epcot is table-service and lounge style service. The price for the new space restaurant at Epcot is between the $$$ and $$$$ range, so prepare for it to be expensive.

How to Get Space 220 Reservations 2023

Space 220 restaurant reservations are actually among the hardest to come by at Walt Disney World. 2023 Space 220 Epcot Menu

The Space 220 menu is here since guests are finally dining at the restaurant!  The new Space 220 restaurant menu will feature internationally-inspired cuisine and modern American cuisine for lunch or dinner. For the adults visiting Disney, the Disney Space 220 menu will feature more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines as well as a wide selection of craft beer. The Disney World space-themed restaurant also mentioned it will feature something called the “Spinning Wall of Produce.” From hearing through the grapevine, the produce will resemble what is seen on Earth, but with a space-theme twist to it. On the bright side, we know the space-themed restaurant menu won’t be featuring freeze-dried food like the astronauts eat!

The Space 22o menu is going to be prix fix, like Cinderella’s Royal Table or Be Our Guest restaurant.  These space-themed restaurant menu items will differ from lunch and dinner time, especially because lunch will only be a 2-course prix fixe and dinner will be a 3-course prix fixe.

With the recent announcement of the Space 220 restaurant in epcot opening date, it was interesting to see for the first week, reservations were not being taken. A: No, while you might feel as if you are in space, the Space 220 restaurant does not take you into space for real. You will feel full immersed while dining though, but rest assured, you’re feet are safe on the ground.
