The least busy day at Universal Studios Florida tends to be Wednesday with Tuesday or Thursday coming in close seconds. We would say that as of right now, we typically see larger crowds at Universal Islands of Adventure than at Universal Studios Florida. The biggest exception is during Halloween Horror Nights and the Holiday season, typically bringing larger crowds to both parks.
Based on the last two years of historical wait time data, the least busy day at Islands of Adventure is Wednesday. This is typically the case even if you are planning a Universal Orlando vacation during peak season, as weekdays in general are some of the best days to visit, as noted above. We also almost always recommend that guests visiting Islands of Adventure try to take advantage of early park admission, which is included with all of our multi-day tickets or vacation packages. In our experience, it’s one of the best times to visit, and we have helped our clients get on all three of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter rides within the first two hours due to the low crowds.
We don’t know the exact day yet, because Epic Universe doesn’t open until May 2025! We expect crowd levels to be very high for the first couple months the park is open due to the popularity. We do expect that once crowds level out, it will be similar to Islands of Adventure that Sunday, Wednesday and Tuesday will be the least crowded.
