What are the Busiest Days at Universal Orlando 2025?

Universal Orlando onsite hotels

From our experience, the busiest days at Universal Orlando tend to be Saturday, Thursday and Monday according to the most recent historical wait time data, and recent Universal Orlando express pass prices. This typically tends to be because Universal Orlando is very popular for Florida locals, and we do find many guests tend to visit during the weekends, specifically on Saturdays. Many families also tend to start their Universal vacations on Monday or come over to visit from Walt Disney World on Thursday and potentially stay for 3-4 days, which is typically the ideal Universal Orlando vacation length.

When is the most busy day to go to Epic Universe?

We don’t know the exact dates of how busy it will be because Epic Universe doesn’t open until May 2025! We expect crowd levels to be very high for the first couple months the park is open due to the popularity. We do expect that once crowds level out, it will be similar to Islands of Adventure that Saturday will be the most crowded.

What are the busiest days at Islands of Adventure?

  • Saturday, Thursday, and Monday

The busiest day of the week at Islands of Adventure is typically Saturday. This is mostly because the Universal Orlandi is extremely popular among Florida locals, and the weekends, in general, tend to draw a larger crowd. We would also say that Islands of Adventure tends to be busier than Universal Studios Florida as it does have some of the most thrilling rides in all of Universal Orlando. This is also another huge reason why this park tends to be very busy on Thursdays as we believe this is the day when many families take a break from the Disney World parks to come over to Universal Orlando for a day. On top of that, this is also typically the park which has early park admission throughout the year which is extremely popular for families who are trying to get the most out of their vacation.

What are the busiest days at Universal Studios Florida

  • Saturday, Monday, and Friday

Very similar to Islands of Adventure we find that the busiest day to visit Universal Studios Florida tend to be Saturday. However on the flip side one of the other days that we believe this park is busier than Islands of Adventure is Friday and this especially true during the fall when Halloween Horror Nights is held. We also see Monday to be a very busy day at Universal. This is because many families typically start their vacation to Universal Orlando on Sunday so Monday is usually the first full day in the parks. Universal Studios is also the original park, and it’s still what most people think of when they talk about Universal Orlando.

What are the busiest days at Universal’s Volcano Bay?

  • Saturday

Although the wait time data is a bit harder to track at Universal’s Volcano Bay because of their Tapu Tapu system, we typically see that Saturday is the busiest day of the week. This park can and sometimes will reach capacity as well, and we typically see that fall on a Saturday, especially during the spring break and summer months. One of the main reasons is this park is the best water park in all of Orlando, in our opinion, and it is very popular among Florida locals.
