The cost of Universal Orlando tickets is the main thing that you need to budget for. Your other expenses might vary when trying to figure out how much is it to visit Universal Orlando. You might spend less on food or your Universal Orlando hotel room, for example. But the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure ticket prices are one of the things you’ll have no control over. If you are only visiting one park, the one day ticket price for Universal Studios Orlando for an adult starts at $109 and goes all the way up to $140 (tax not included). A child’s ticket is $5 lower, from $104-135 (tax not included). As a note – a child’s ticket only applies to children 3-9 years old.
Why do the Universal Orlando prices change? It depends on the day you go. On days that the park is predicted to be less busy, mid-week in September, for example, the Universal Studios price per day is lower.
If you need to work around a school schedule, though, you need to know how much is Universal Studios during the summer months. In May, June, July, and August, ticket prices hover between $126 and $140 for adults and $121-135 per child. In general, the cost to get into Universal Studios is around $132 for adults and $127 for children. This goes up slightly during holiday weekends and on Saturdays.
The Islands of Adventure 1 day ticket price is the same as the Universal Orlando ticket price.

If you want to see both parks in one day, your best option is to purchase a Universal park to park ticket. For Harry Potter fans, this gives you the chance to ride the Hogwarts Express from park to park. So how much is it to go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on the same day? Like above, it depends on when you go.
Adults will pay between $164 and $195 (plus tax) and children will pay $159 to $190 (plus tax).
If you have more time to go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, you’ll find the best value for the Universal Studios cost with a 2-day ticket. Although they cost more, the average cost for Universal Studios is lower with these tickets. Prices for adults range from $85 to $117 per day (plus tax) and ticket prices for children run $81 to $112 per day (plus tax).
The other big question most people have about visiting Universal is the price of visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You’re in luck! The Harry Potter world cost is included in your ticket.
Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure each have their own Wizarding World within the park. Once you’ve paid the admission cost to Universal Studios Orlando, you’re all set to enjoy Harry Potter world, too.

When you’re at the theme park all day, food can be a big part of your Universal Studios trip cost. You aren’t allowed to bring food into the park (with some exceptions, such as baby food). And there are plenty of dining options on site, so it will depend on where and what you eat.
