This article is your guide to all CityWalk stores for 2024! If you’ve ever visited Universal Orlando Resort, you’ve walked through CityWalk to get into either incredible theme park. CityWalk is packed with incredible restaurants, exclusive entertainment, and, of course, shopping! There are many different City Walk shops open for you to peruse to purchase all of your souvenir wants and needs!

So without another second, here is our unofficial Universal CityWalk directory for shops for 2024! During my time as a Florida resident, I loved hopping over to CityWalk Universal Stores to bring home a treat or two without actually going into the parks. I think that the stores in CityWalk are a great variety for someone looking to get a taste of Universal without having to buy a ticket.

If shopping at Universal Orlando Resort is on your itinerary, you’ll be delighted to know there are a plethora of stores before you even enter the parks. The Universal City Walk shops are open early in the morning, and stay open even later for the parks if you’re looking to stop on your way out. Whether you’re looking for classic Universal souvenirs, or something more unique, there will be CityWalk Orlando stores for you.

Among classic souvenir stores, there are also many different gift shops within the unique restaurants within Universal CityWalk. So, if you’re wanting something from the Hard Rock Cafe, or Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, we’ve got you covered.

Overview: The Universal Studios Store Citywalk has everything and anything you could ever want to purchase, with 8300 square feet and nearly any franchise found in the parks. This store is massive, and truly your one-stop for anything Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Marvel, Dr. Seuss, and more! The Universal Studios Store at Universal CityWalk Orlando is super bright and airy with almost an entire section dedicated to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The Universal Studios Store at CityWalk Orlando boasts over 2,000 items to look through! That is an EPIC amount of merchandise, so we doubt you’ll miss anything while in here.

Where in CityWalk: Next to Vivo Italian Kitchen and Red Oven Pizza Bakery

Overview: The Universal Legacy Store is perfect for those original Universal fans, as it is an entire store dedicated to the classics. It is one of CityWalk Orlando’s shops where you can guarantee to find prints, clothing, bags, hats, lanyards, and more from Jaws, Back to the Future, E.T., and more! The Universal Legacy Store is also where you can find retro Universal merchandise, as well as, a personalization department that can stamp a variety of items.

If you’re looking for a less crowded option for Harry Potter or Jurassic Park merchandise, you can also find a few sections of newer franchises.

Another unexpected place to do fantastic souvenir CityWalk shopping is inside of the featured restaurants on site. There are many large-name restaurants like Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, which offer large gift shops that are perfect for take homes. You don’t even have to dine in to browse at the restaurant shops at Universal CityWalk.

While we won’t try and sway you, there are some of the best Universal restaurants in CityWalk, all of which have gift shops. So, if you’re wanting better food than the theme parks, we suggest shopping and dining in the same place.

The Smuggler’s Hold at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Stop by this small, colorful shop to do some Universal Citywalk Shopping at The Smuggler’s Hold at Margaritaville. Smuggler’s Hold typically has hats, bags, apparel, magnets, cups, art, and other Jimmy Buffett-themed merchandise. This shop is accessible before you enter the restaurant, perfect for killing time before you grab a bite.

Candy Smith at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

If your over-the-top milkshake wasn’t enough at dinner, don’t worry, you can stop by Candy Smith for more. This is one of the most delicious shops at CityWalk Orlando, as you can buy sweets, truffles, macarons, clothing, accessories, and more!

Rock Shop at Hard Rock Orlando

The Rock Shop is just as exciting as the music venue inside, as it is the best shop at Universal CityWalk for rock ‘n’ roll lovers. This souvenir shop has everything from band t-shirts to rock memorabilia. We guarantee if you’re looking for a new Hard Rock Cafe mug for your office, you will find it here, as it is a rather large shop!

Voodoo Doughnut

Other than having some of the most delicious donuts on property (second to The Big Pink, of course) Voodoo Doughnut has a surprising merchandise section. We think that it is large enough to be included in the best restaurant shops at Universal Citywalk due to how cool the merch is. You can buy T-shirts, an incredible pink mug, and even a wooden coffin full of doughnuts!

Which is the Best Universal CityWalk Store in 2024?

The best Universal CityWalk store is the Universal Studios Store. It is huge, with every single franchise from inside the parks in CityWalk. It is truly the place for shopping at CityWalk if you’re looking for any souvenirs or take-homes to remember your trip. There is an entire store inside of a store with Wizarding World of Harry Potter merchandise, which we love. You can even pick up a wand if you forgot one because you were too busy escaping from Gringotts.

Are there different merchandise at the stores in CityWalk vs the parks?

If you want to stop in one of the Universal branded stores in City Walk Orlando, you are probably going to see a lot of repeat merchandise. If anything, the more exclusive Universal merchandise will be inside of the parks. With that being said, there are exclusive stores and merchandise that you will not find inside the parks, such as the Quiet Flight Surf Shop.

Is it free to go shopping at CityWalk?

Guests do not have to pay to access the stores at Universal City Walk but will have to pay to use the parking garage before 6 PM. That’s right, if you wait until 6 PM, or have an Annual Pass to Universal Orlando, you will not have to pay for parking then either!

If you’re wanting you want to do a little more than souvenir shopping, then you can check out these other City Walk shops Orlando has too! Universal CityWalk has two shops within it that aren’t restaurants or Universal-themed, which is pretty rare. You will find a pretty neat surf shop and a tattoo shop that allows guests to purchase souvenirs to bring home too!

If you’re a surfer or a skater, you’ve got to stop by this shop as it has brands like Quiet Flight, Billabong, Vans, Quicksilver, Roxy, Ray-Ban, and more! You can also find a small assortment of surfboards and skateboards to take home to remember the Sunshine State.

Hart & Huntington Tattoo Shop

Whether you’re looking to remember your vacation with a shirt, or something permanent, the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Shop is for you. You will find an array of apparel, sunglasses, jackets, and more inside of this unique CityWalk store!

Q: Can you get butterbeer at CityWalk?

A: No, unfortunately, you can only get butterbeer inside either Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure or Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida. Guests can grab their morning coffee from Starbucks, but unfortunately not a butterbeer.

Q: When do CityWalk stores open?

A: CityWalk at Universal Orlando opens at 8 AM, therefore most stores and shopping experiences should be too. Some of the restaurant shops may not be open, as restaurants tend to open up later in the day if they do not have a breakfast service.

Q: Can you walk to the stores from the parks?

A: Yes, you can walk to the CityWalk stores from either theme park. You actually must pass through CityWalk to enter either of the Universal theme parks, anyway! So make sure to stop into some of the Universal shops the next time you’re heading over to the theme parks.

Q: Can you buy a wand at CityWalk?

A: Yes, you can buy a wand at CityWalk in the Universal Studios Store. There is a huge Harry Potter section with almost any wand you can purchase inside of the theme parks available. It is a rather popular section, though, so you might be crowded in there while searching.

Q: Is the Hello Kitty store in CityWalk?

A: Unfortunately, if you want to visit the Hello Kitty Store, you’ll have to gain entry to Universal Studios Florida theme park. You might be able to find Hello Kitty merchandise in the Universal branded stores in CityWalk, but the official store with a plethora of merchandise is located inside the park.
