Since there are two separate theme parks at Universal Orlando, about to be three with Epic Universe, we are going to have two sections with height requirements. This first section is all of the Universal Studios Florida height requirements in 2024.

Universal Studios Florida Height Requirement: 34 inches or taller

• E.T. Adventure – Must be at least 34 inches (87 cm) tall. Children between 34 inches and 48 inches (86 cm-122 cm) tall must be accompanied by a supervising companion

Universal Studios Florida Ride Height Requirements: 40 inches or taller

• Despicable Me Minion Mayhem -Must be at least 40″ (102cm). Children between 40″- 48″ (102cm – 122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Persons under 40″ (102cm) must experience this attraction from an adjacent stationary seat
• Fast & Furious Supercharged – Must be at least 40″ (102cm). Children between 40″ – 48″ (102cm – 122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion
• Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon – Must be at least 40″ (102cm). Children between 40″–48″ (102cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• The Simpsons Ride – Must be at least 40″ (102cm). Children between 40″–48″ (102cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion

• Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts – Must be at least 42″ (107cm). Children between 42″–48″ (107cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack – Must be at least 42″ (107cm). Children between 42″–48″ (107cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.

Universal Studios Florida Height Requirements: 44  inches or taller

• Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit –  The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit height requirement is that guests have to be at least 51″ (130cm) and no more than 79″ (201cm).
• Revenge of the Mummy – The Mummy ride height requirement is that guests must be at least 48″ (122cm).

Islands of Adventure is home to those who are seeking the rush of adrenaline. This park is home to some of the top thrill coasters and attractions in all of Orlando! That’s why Islands of Adventure height requirements have a larger range than those found at Universal Studios Florida.

Height Requirement for Islands of Adventure: 36 inches or taller

• Cat in the Hat – Must be at least 36″ (92cm). Children between 36″–48″ (92cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• Flight of the Hippogriff – The height requirement for the Harry Potter World ride is that guests must be at least 36″ (92cm). Children between 36″–48″ (92cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride – Must be at least 36″ (92cm). Children between 36″–48″ (92cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• Pteranodon Flyers – Please note that Pteranodon Flyers™ is designed for children 36″–56″ (92cm-143cm) tall. A child meeting this requirement must accompany guests over 56″ (143cm) tall. Children between 36″–48″ (92cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.

All of the Volcano Bay height requirements range from 42-48 inches. This tropical-themed water park at Universal Orlando is a great escape from the traditional theme park in the Florida sun!

• Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides – Must be at least 42″ (107cm). Children between 42″-48″ (107cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• Punga Racers – Must be at least 42″ (107cm).
• Taniwha Tubes – Must be at least 42″ (107cm). Children between 42″–48″ (107cm-122cm) must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
• TeAwa The Fearless River – Must be at least 42″ (107cm). Children between 42″–48″ (107cm-122cm) must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vest and enter the river with a supervising companion.
