One such classic is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and Universal Studios Orlando brings this beloved tale to life with their annual holiday celebration, Grinchmas.

During the holiday season, Universal turns into one big Grinch Christmas party. Grinchmas at Universal Studios is more than just a nod to an iconic movie. It’s a holiday-themed extravaganza set right in the heart of Seuss Landing. The star of the show is none other than Mr. Grinch himself, and the park transforms into Whoville to celebrate the holidays in true Grinch style.  A Universal Grinchmas 2032 is sure to include music and shows in the celebration. Of course, you’ll even get to see and meet Whos and the Universal Grinch.

No! Universal Studios Orlando Grinchmas is not a separately ticketed event. It is included with regular theme park admission. The only event you would need to book separately is the Grinchmas character breakfast at Universal Studios.

What is The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular 2023

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is a theatrical retelling of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” This cheerful Universal Grinch extravaganza is sure to make hearts grow three sizes bigger. With music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller and a score composed by Chip Davis, the Grinchmas show at Universal is a must-see. It stars the Grinch and the cast of Whoville, bringing the story full circle.

We absolutely love the Grinch show at Universal Studios, as it is the most popular feature at Grinchmas – so make sure you arrive about 20-30 minutes before showtime.

Will There Be Grinchmas 2023?

The answer is … yes! Universal Orlando Resort announced last year that the holidays will be returning along with Grinchmas! Starting November 12th you can experience the cunning cheer with our favorite, green guy! When Universal Orlando reopened during the pandemic on June 5th, 2020, the park opened with limited attractions and no events. As part of their reopening process, they slowly introduced events held in the past once again.

What is a trip to Whoville without meeting the Grinch or anyone from Whoville for that matter? So let’s take a look at another popular question which is, where can you go to visit the Grinch? You can find the Grinch at Islands of Adventure park at Universal Orlando. He will be making appearances again in 2023! Catch him posing for photo-ops and meet n’ greets next to Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous. You can also catch him snacking on glass in Seuss Landing.

Since the original film consists of a mostly-animated character, the Grinch theme park look is inspired by Jim Carrey’s character. It does look pretty realistic if you ask us, almost like he walked out of the movie and into the park! Right now you can find the Grinch at random times at Seuss Landing for distanced photo ops and meet and greets.
