Have you ever wondered all of the Disney resort names? We have, and for that reason, we’ve made a complete list of all resorts on Disney property and sorted them out into their different categories.
We’ve been visiting Disney World hotel properties for over 10 years, so we happen to know a lot about them as self-proclaimed Disney-foodies. We’ll give you the best tips about our favorite Disney World resorts as well as the pricing as to what you should expect if you make it to the end!
That is the entire 2023 Disney resort list before being broken down into the tiers that Walt Disney World uses to separate the hotels!
Many guests don’t know that there are three different types of hotels at Disney World which are separated by price and amenities offered. The three types of Disney Resorts are value, moderate and deluxe with several resorts in each tier. Value resorts are the lowest price, with the most basic of perks and amenities and standard rooms are typically the smallest and bare. Moderate Disney World resorts are the largest in actual size, with nice rooms and decent pricing which makes them rather popular for families. Deluxe resorts are the fanciest resorts at Walt Disney World, with the best perks, rooms, recreation options and more!
For this next section we are going to go over each tier and listing all Disney resorts within it!
There are 22 different hotels on Walt Disney World property including all value, moderate and deluxe hotels there. We’ve even included Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser on our Disney Resort list, even though it is more offered like a cruise sailing instead of a hotel stay. Certain hotels are also split up into two entities like the Fort Wilderness Campground and Cabins, which might actually serve as two separate resorts.
Disney World Resort costs can range from $130 to even upwards of $6,000 depending on when and where you stay. The Disney World resorts that cost the most are the deluxe resorts, especially those that offer large suites, cabins or bungalows. There are rooms that can accommodate over 10 guests per night, therefore, the cost of them are going to be rather high!
Most rooms cost around $400 per night in Disney World and you should expect the prices to be higher if you’re visiting during the holidays or the summertime.

The current Disney hotels list for deluxe resorts is:
Disney Deluxe Resorts are pricey, and even the cheapest Disney’s Wilderness Lodge starts at $439 per night for a standard room.
Disney Deluxe Resorts are the luxury tier of hotels in Walt Disney World, with the nicest rooms, best transportation and most popular dining options. These hotels are going to cost you the most when booking, and are typically the hardest to book with how popular they are. A handful of the deluxe resorts at Disney World are iconic and on the monorail line overlooking Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom, which we love.
Disney Deluxe Resorts are also offered the extra perk of Extended Evening Hours, which is extra time for guests in the park after close. If you’re looking for a vacation inside of a vacation with your Disney hotel, then the deluxe tier is for you. Each Disney deluxe resort has an incredible pool and even extra recreation options like Movies Under the Stars or even tennis courts or walking trails. There are even Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, which are rooms that are larger with kitchens, bedrooms and are often considered the highest ranked Disney World hotels!

The here is a list of moderate resorts at Disney World:
Walt Disney World Moderate Resorts are right in the middle, not the most expensive and not value which are huge in size and have great character. If you like exploring, we find that the overall campus size of the moderate Disney property resorts are massive and great for walks. They might not be the best resorts for families, as they aren’t overly Disney themed and it can be hard walking back and forth from the main eatery to your rooms.
Other than that, we think that you get the most value for booking a Disney moderate resort with how nice the rooms are and overall accommodations. Port Orleans – French Quarter is our favorite Disney resort to visit as adults to get beignets one of the best moderate hotels Disney World offers! You can even book your very own cabin at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, which has all of the comforts of home, and actually great if you have a baby or toddler with.

Here is a current list of Walt Disney World resorts in Value tier:
Disney Value Resorts are the cheapest hotels out of the Disney resort categories and perfect for groups or families on a budget. If you aren’t planning on spending a lot of time in your hotel room and want to save the most money, we recommend booking a value hotel. Value hotels still have amenities like standard swimming pools and free Disney transportation, it’s just all rather basic. Art of Animation and Pop Century Resort are attached to the Disney Skyliner, which makes them a bit better than the All Stars Resorts for transportation.
Disney’s All Star Resorts all share the same large area near Animal Kingdom, where there are three different hotels on the same property. These hotels are great if you don’t care about size or theming of the rooms and are just looking for a pool to splash around in. Each All Star Resort has its own cafeteria style quick service with simple food, perfect for families on the go.

A: The range for Walt Disney World rooms is actually huge, with value rooms starting at about $130 and then deluxe rooms ranging to as expensive as $6,000! The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser costs $5,000 for two people for a two-night stay, which is the newest experience in Disney World. There are also large family bungalows and suites which cost upward of $1000 per night, so it all depends on where and when you book.
Disney does date-based pricing, so the more popular time of year, the more expensive your room will be. The holidays and summertime are going to have higher rates than non-peak season like February and September.
A: Even though Disney value resorts are going to save your wallet, they don’t fall short when it comes to Disney perks, which is awesome. All guests staying at Disney Value resorts get Early Park Entry, which 30 minute early entry to all four Disney theme parks. You also get Early Access to Lightning Lane choices at 7am, versus the park open for everyone else. There are also discounts for on-site guests and an expanded dining window for booking reservations.
A: Our favorite Disney value resort is Disney’s Art of Animation resort, which seems to have it all for the price. It has the most convenient transportation, like the Disney Skyliner, the most Disney theme and the most choices for large families visiting the resort. If you’re going for price alone, the All Stars resorts are also the perfect choice, just a bit stripped down and less exciting.
A: Walt Disney World has over 30,000 hotel rooms between the 21 different resort hotels located throughout property. That makes a lot of sense seeing as that Disney sees over 100,000 guests a day visiting the four different theme parks, water parks and shopping complex. So, when you’re looking to book your next room, there are many different choices with standard rooms, suites and villas.
A: There are 22 different hotels on Disney World property, including the Galactic Starcruiser, which is Disney’s newest resort. That only includes Disney owned hotels, and not the hotels located on property like the Swan and Dolphin, or Swan Reserve hotels.
