How to Get Into Super Nintendo World Hollywood?

There are currently three different ways to get into Super Nintendo World Hollywood which include buying a regular general admission Universal Hollywood ticket, the Universal Hollywood Super Nintendo World Early Access ticket, and upgrading to the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket or VIP ticket. It’s important to note that from our experience the Universal Express Pass ticket and VIP ticket are the only options that will guarantee you have a great experience in Super Nintendo World.

How can you get into Super Nintendo World?

  • Buy the Universal Hollywood Early Access ticket

Universal Hollywood Nintendo World Early Access Ticket

The most popular option when trying to get into Super Nintendo World is the early access ticket. The Super Nintendo World early access ticket allows guests access to Super Nintendo World up to one hour before other park guests. The entire land is open during this time except for Toadstool Cafe. But you will have first access to grab a reservation! It’s important to note that this ticket is an add-on to your general admission Universal Hollywood ticket.

How Much Does the Super Nintendo World Early Access Ticket Cost?

  • $20 – $30

The Super Nintendo World early access ticket will cost between $20-$30 depending on the day you plan to visit. The early access ticket can sell out so we suggest purchasing tickets in advance. It’s rare but it does happen, so if you know you would like to take advantage of the extra hour in Super Nintendo World!

How to Use the Universal Express Pass and VIP Ticket to Access Nintendo World Hollywood

One of the least popular ways to get into Universal Studios Hollywood Super Nintendo World is to upgrade to the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket or the Universal Hollywood VIP Experience. From our experience, these two are not as popular as the previous ways to get into Super Nintendo World as they will cost significantly more with the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket being at least $125 – $150 more than regular admission tickets, and the VIP Experience can be between $200 – $300 more.

How can the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket get me into Super Nintendo World?

The Universal Hollywood Express pass ticket will grant guests the ability to skip the regular lines at participating attractions once per day. This ticket will also now allow guests to enter Super Nintendo World once during their day at the park without making a virtual queue reservation.

How can the Universal Hollywood VIP ticket get me into Nintendo World?

From our experience, the Universal Hollywood VIP experience is the perfect fit for families who would like to take advantage of unlimited access to Nintendo World. The reason is that this ticket will give guests a private tour guide with VIP access to the front of participating rides. This ticket will also give guests unlimited access to Super Nintendo World throughout the day.

How Does the Virtual Queue at Super Nintendo World Hollywood Work?

The virtual line at Super Mario World will allow guests to pick a time slot to go and enter Super Nintendo World. The virtual queue system is included free with any regular Universal Hollywood ticket. It’s important to note that from what we have seen to this point Universal Hollywood has only been using the virtual queue for Nintendo World during the busiest days. So it’s not guaranteed that you will need to use the virtual queue system when trying to visit Super Nintendo World. On our first Nintendo World visit, we were able to come and go into Mario World as we pleased!

How to know if Universal is running the virtual queue for Nintendo World?

We highly recommend downloading the Universal Hollywood App before you arrive at the theme parks. On the day that you arrive at the parks, go to the home screen of the Universal Hollywood App and tap on the “Virtual Line” button. If Super Mario World is an option, they are utilizing the Virtual Queue. If the land is not an option, you won’t need to join a virtual line that day! Make sure you check once you’re scanned into the park! If you look at the app without being scanned in, the land might not show up.

How do I join the Universal Hollywood Super Nintendo World virtual queue?

  1. Purchase your Universal Hollywood ticket
  2. When you arrive at the parks open the Universal Hollywood App or check in at one of the virtual queue kiosks
  3. Click on where it says “virtual line: and then select “Super Nintendo World”
  4. Enter your party size and select a return time
  5. Once confirmed you’ll receive a QR code to use to return to Super Mario World later in the day

What happens if the Nintendo World virtual queue is full?

It’s very important to make sure that you try to join the virtual line for Nintendo World as soon as the park opens. This will give you the best chance to obtain a return time. If you are not able to obtain a return time earlier in the day we still always recommend to continue looking throughout the day to see if Universal will release any additional time slots.

A: When the park is utilizing the Virtual Queue, guests who gained access to Nintendo World with the queue system will not be able to enter Super Nintendo World again once their time is up. The only guests who have unlimited access to Nintendo World are guests who upgrade to the Universal VIP Experience. The only exception to this rule would be if you have a reservation at the Toadstool Café.

A: There is no additional fee to get into Nintendo World. Access to the land is included with all general admission tickets. The price for one day at Universal Studios Hollywood will cost between $109 – $150 depending on the day you visit. If you want an Early Access ticket to the land you can pay $20-$30 and enter the land one hour early!
