One of the most common questions we are receiving these days is, how can I get into Universal Hollywood’s Super Nintendo World? And as a general rule of thumb there are currently three different ways to get into Super Nintendo World Hollywood which include buying a regular general admission Universal Hollywood ticket, through the Universal Hollywood Super Nintendo World early access ticket or upgrading to the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket or VIP ticket. It’s important to note that from our experience the Universal Express Pass ticket and VIP ticket are the only options that will guarantee you access to Super Nintendo World as the virtual queue system is first come first serve.

Okay the next question we will take a look at is, how does the virtual line work at Super Nintendo World Hollywood? And the virtual line at Super Nintendo World will allow guests to pick a time slot to then go and enter Super Nintendo World. Another important factor to keep in mind is that the virtual queue system is included absolutely free with any regular Universal Hollywood ticket. It’s important to note that from what we have seen to this point Universal Hollywood has only been using the virtual queue for Super Nintendo World during the busiest days. So it’s not guaranteed that you will need to use the virtual queue system when trying to visit Super Nintendo World, however we believe more times than not you will.
For guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood who are trying to visit Super Nintendo World we highly recomend to download the Universal Hollywood App before you arrive at the theme parks. On the day that you arrive to the parks we recomend to go to the home screen of the Universal Hollywood App and clicking on the “Virtual Line” button which will say Super Nintendo World. This will tell you if Super Nintendo World is running a virtual line that day in which case you can join which ever time slots are available. And if they are not you won’t need to join a virtual line that day. It’s also very important to note that you will need to be inside of Universal Studios Hollywood in order to join the virtual line system.
It’s very important to make sure that you try to join the virtual line for Super Nintendo World as soon as the parks open as this will give you the best chance to obtain a return time. If you are not able to obtain a return time earlier in the day we still always recomend to continue looking throughout the day to see if Universal will release any additional time slots.

The second most popular option when trying to get into Super Nintendo World is the early access ticket. The Super Nintendo World early access ticket allows guests access to Super Nintendo World up to one hour before other park guests. During this time guests can enjoy everything the new land has to offer including going on Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge, character meet and greets, and trying Toadstool Café which usually requires a reservation. It’s important to note that guests also must have a general admission Universal Hollywood ticket and, guests will also not be allowed to renter Super Nintendo World once it opens up to regular park guests later in the day.
Another one of the most popular questions we receive on this topic is, how much does the Super Nintendo World early access ticket cost? And as a general rule of thumb the Super Nintendo World early access ticket will cost between $20-$30 depending on the day you plan to visit. It’s also important to note that the early access ticket can sell out so we highly recomend to purchase them in advance if you know you would like to take advantage of the extra hour in Super Nintendo World.

The last two ways to get into Universal Studios Hollywood Super Nintendo World is to upgrade to the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket or the Universal Hollywood VIP Experience. From our experience these two are not as popular as the previous ways to get into Super Nintendo World as they will cost significantly more with the Universal Hollywood Express Pass ticket being at least $125 – $150 more than regular admission tickets, and the VIP Experience can ben between $200 – $300 more.
The Universal Hollywood Express pass ticket will grant guest the ability to skip the regular lines at participating attractions once per day. This ticket will also now give guests the ability to enter Super Nintendo World once during their day at the park without making a virtual queue reservation.
From our experience the Universal Hollywood VIP experience is the perfect fit for families who would like to take advantage of unlimited access to Super Nintendo World. The reason being is this ticket will give guests a private tour guide with VIP access to the front of participating rides. This ticket will also give guests unlimited access to Super Nintendo World throughout the day.
Unfortunately guests who gained access to Super Nintendo World through the virtual queue system or using the Universal Express Pass will not be able to enter Super Nintendo World again once their time is up. The only guests that have unlimited access to Super Nintendo World are guests who upgrade to the Universal VIP Experience. The only exception to this rule would be if you have a reservation at the Toadstool Café.
