EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, as originally dreamt up by Walt Disney himself is made up of two lands and is the second largest theme park on Walt Disney World property. Both Future World and World Showcase bring together science, technology, and the arts…or the arts of food and wine depending on how you prefer to look at it. There are plenty of family favorite attractions in both lands so having a solid game plan will make sure you don’t miss anything EPCOT has to offer.

Planning Your Day at EPCOT

Our team members at The Park Prodigy have put together this itinerary for you to get the most out of your day at EPCOT! It has been updated to avoid long lines and crowds and maximize your time in the parks. One of the most important aspects to make the most out of your time in the parks is to A) arrive early and B) leave late when you can. We recommend arriving 30 minutes ahead of park opening which will allow you to take advantage of lower wait times on some of the most popular attractions.

Please note that unlike the other three theme parks, EPCOT has two entrances, with one being one in the front of the park and another connected to the Disney Boardwalk in the back. It is also important to make note that both Future World and World Showcase have different opening times. This EPCOT itinerary includes a midday break for you and the kids, and we highly recommend taking advantage of it. The midday hours tend to have the longest wait times anyway, and a break allows you to come back in the evening for the fireworks and funnel cake!
