We might be stating the obvious here, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is the perfect destination for adventure seekers, as well as animal lovers of all ages. This theme park has been a fan favorite since its grand opening in 1998, home to classic attractions such as Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition. The additions of Pandora – The World of Avatar, and new nighttime entertainment have made Animal Kingdom theme park an all-day adventure. So let’s go exploring!
One thing to keep in mind is that this plan does not include Kali River Rapids, in case your group isn’t looking to get wet during your visit. However, we always recommend to using this as a guide to mix and match the rides of your choice. The most important things to do to get the most out of your time in the parks are to A) Arrive early and B) Leave late when you can. We recommend arriving 30 minutes ahead of park opening, which will allow you to take advantage of lower wait times in Pandora – The World of Avatar, which is the theme park’s newest addition.
This Animal Kingdom itinerary does NOT include Disney’s new Genie+ selections and does NOT include a midday break. We find it to be best suited for families with older children and young teens. We hope you find this itinerary helpful. Let’s jump right in!
